This beautiful, bright “Puzzle Piece Quilt” was designed and sewn by Mary of Stitches & Designs II in honor of Jacob Hughes. Jacob loves the color orange, is an excellent bowler, and has autism.
The puzzle piece is the symbol of autism. The meaning of the puzzle pieces is multifaceted. For many, the puzzle pieces represent the mystery and complexity of autism. The bright colors are said to represent hope.
The quilt will be raffled off around 11:30am on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at the Dan River Autism Awareness 5k during the post-run/walk celebration at the picnic shelter at Anglers Park in Danville, Virginia.
The winner does NOT have to be present to win. The winner must present the winning ticket to claim the quilt.
This raffle is a fundraiser for the Dan River Autism Awareness 5k. Proceeds go towards Team Jacob’s fundraising goal for the event.
Tickets are $5 for 1 or $20 for 5
Only 312 tickets will be sold. Cash or check can be accepted. Make checks payable to “DRAA 5k” with “Team Jacob” in the notes line.
